GOLDENBERRY
With immense potential for agro-industrialization and export in the form of flours, jams, natural
sweets for international markets, along with blueberries, the goldenberry is one of the fruits that will be
most exported from Peru.

- Laboratory propagated and elongated, rooted and acclimatized in Peru.
CULTURE
To grow aguaymanto, you have to know certain things about what you need to grow well:
FLOOR
- Loam (Sandy and clayey),
with loose and deep soils,
fertile, well drained, with a
slightly acidic pH.
FERTILIZATION
- Decomposed manure (10T /
ha), or compost (5 t / ha).
(Island guano mixed with
decomposed manure 250 kg
/ ha).
IRRIGATION
- Every 20 days until flowering
and from flowering until
ripening every 15 days. (3 to
5 irrigations during its
vegetative development
depending on the
goldenberry ecotype (early,
semi-late and late).
